How Is Engineered Flooring Made?
Solid lumber is saw cut into veneers, not rotary cut like commodity products, and then is glued to a premium grade Baltic Birch plywood base layer. The use of saw cut veneers provides an identical appearance to solid wood flooring.
Baltic Birch plywood is used for exceptional strength and dimensional stability. Engineered Flooring that uses Baltic Birch plywood is less prone to warp, twist, and cupping than other flooring products. Our Baltic Birch plywood uses exterior grade / water resistant glue which adds additional durability to the flooring.
