On April 9th, Wu Xiaoqiao, the Chief Engineer of the Jiangsu Provincial Forestry Bureau, led a team to Xuzhou to conduct a 3-day survey on the development of the forestry industry. The survey mainly took the form of on-site research and enterprise discussions, and conducted research on the leading enterprises and the development of the forest economy in Fengxian County, Pizhou City, and Tongshan District.
The research team mainly conducted research on the construction of the timber industry demonstration park and the understory economic demonstration base in Fengxian County. Get to know about Jiangsu Ruitai wood-based panel, Fengxian Southern Biomass Cogeneration Project, Xuzhou Weitai New Material, Xuzhou Meilao Smart Home, Dashahe Forestry Economic Demonstration Base and other sites. In 2022, there will be more than 1000 wood processing enterprises in Fengxian County, including 300 large-scale enterprises. The processing of forest products will lead to 5500 employees. The total area of under forest economy will be 490000 mu. The forest coverage on both banks of Dasha River will reach 95.6%, laying a solid foundation for the development of forest health care industry. We conducted research on the fifth batch of key forestry leading enterprises and the development of understory economy in Pizhou City, and inspected the sites of Jiangshan Wood Industry, Druny Wood Industry, Chenlou Town Ginkgo biloba understory planting of large ball cap fungi, Morchella, and other fungi. In 2022, the total output value of the forestry and grass industry in Pizhou City was 54.93 billion yuan, including 50.33 billion yuan in the secondary industry and 850 million yuan in the understory economy. There are currently more than 3100 wooden structure and wood product manufacturing and supporting service enterprises in the city, including 246 enterprises above designated size, with an annual output of 8 million cubic meters of various types of artificial boards. It is one of the four major board bases in China. Investigated the development status of national key forestry leading enterprises in Shengyang Industrial Park, Sanbao Street, Tongshan District. Visited Allianz Wood’s production base, product display, and whole house customization showroom.
