FORM-PLY
Description
Plywood Bracing is manufactured using an imported hardwood product and constructed with an A bond glue line making it suitable for exterior applications.
Face Grade: C Front / C Back
Bond: A-Bond (Exterior)
Standard: AS/NZS 2269
Structural Rating: F22
Applications: Manufactured especially for the structural bracing of houses, specifically wall and roof bracing.
Form-ply is made with a high-density overlay (HDO) of phenolic resin impregnated paper bonded to plywood. Form-ply is ideal for concrete formwork.
The overlay helps to protect the hardwood face veneer as well providing a sound surface for the poured concrete. The offer is manufactured to AS 6669 for Plywood – Formwork
ForestOne Formwork Solutions
A significant feature of Form-ply is the coating which prevents concrete adhering. The coating also protects face veneers and is moisture resistant.
Form-ply is used in formwork applications such as decks, retaining walls, pre-cast, and tilt-up panel construction, tableforms, shutters, and heavy civil engineering and mining applications.
Black Stallion F17
An imported Form-ply constructed from mixed species veneers with eucalyptus core veneers, a plantation hardwood face and phenolic overlay. F17 is ideal for general formwork use such as decks, retaining walls, bridges and culvert construction.
Birch F17
An imported formply made from Birch veneers, its multiply construction gives this very strong plywood less variation in properties parallel and perpendicular to the face grain, enhancing panel stability and utility. Birch F17 is overlaid with a durable resin impregnated paper to give the concrete a smooth finish.
Formply F11, F14, F17 and F27
ForestOne carries a range of locally sourced Formply in multiple stress grades produced predominantly from Pinus Radiata veneers. These are glued with phenolic resin and overlaid with a durable resin impregnated paper to give the concrete a smooth finish. The phenolic finish and high-quality outer veneers make these durable and reusable.
Note: With proper on-site care and installation a good quality off-form finish can be achieved. Refer AS3610.
Structural Plywood
Structural products differ from other products because they have predictable reliable load and/or engineering design values.
They also use structural adhesive systems that can withstand both long term static loading without deformation, and long-term exposure to moisture and heat. There are a range of stress grades, most commonly F8 or F11. Glueline and envelope treatments can be provided where longer lasting applications are required. They are also used as cost effective solutions in non-decorative applications.
Our Structural Plywood is sourced both locally and internationally to the standard AS/NZS2269.

Marine Plywood BS1088
BS1088 Marine Plywood is a high quality plywood renowned for its exceptional durability and performance to withstand impact and vibration forces from waves and floating debris. Made to British Standard BS1088, this plywood is manufactured with high-quality tropical mixed hardwood species in the face and core veneers with few defects. The “BS1088” standard signifies compliance with rigorous standards related to wood quality, construction methods, and adhesive integrity. Worth noting that the mixed hardwood species may vary in colour and that colour matching may present some challenges. Available in a range of thicknesses, from 4mm to 25mm, as FSC or PEFC certified on request. Marine plywood is not waterproof, however the glue line used is an exterior glue able to withstand boiling tests. Plywood, like timber, needs to be protected by suitable coatings to stop degradation.

Sourced from sustainable forests, our BB/CC plywood is a type of hardwood plywood that is classified as non-structural. It is manufactured by bonding together high-quality hardwood veneers with an exterior resin glue. The term “BB/CC” refers to the grading system used to classify the quality of the plywood. In this case, the letters “BB” refer to the front surface of the plywood, and any small defects that may exist are filled and sanded. The “CC” refers to the back surface of the plywood, which may have small patches and filled splits. Available in a range of thicknesses, from 3.6mm to 25mm, it is available as FSC or PEFC certified on request.
