Primed LVL Stair Stringer and Primed Riser Material

LVL Laminated Veneer Lumber is an engineered wood product that is perfect for stair stringer applications. LVL panels and beams are considered structural composite lumber meaning they are manufactured by assembling multiple layers of wood using exterior adhesive.

Our Stair Stringer Laminated Veneer Lumber LVL utilizes Radiata Pine substrate along with exterior glue and high-quality primer for a smooth, paintable surface. This material is much less likely to warp, twist, bow, or shrink compared to traditional lumber. When considering appearance, LVL is like plywood, but the direction of the wood grain is always parallel to the length and laminated in the same direction.

We stock a wide variety of dimensions of Laminated Veneer Lumber for just-in-time deliveries. Custom sizing is available including thicknesses ranging from ¾” to 1-7/8” and lengths up to 24’. Both primed and unprimed material can be provided.
