Particleboard Core

Particle board Core (PBC) is a lower cost alternative when compared to Veneer Core, Combi Core, and MDF. Like MDF, it is extremely smooth, however, the wood chips that are used in its construction are not further refined into fiber as they are in MDF or HDF. The construction allows for a very stable hardwood plywood substrate when a balancing face and back are used in the production of the panel.
