It Is an economical surface laminate where the base plywood is evenly coated with resin adhesive which fills the holes and recesses on the surface. The partially drying adhesive bonds the thin decorative overlay paper. The decorative overlay paper is coated with a transparent resin coat to withstand stain and provide a scratch and water resistant surface. The decorative paper surface is then embossed with fine wood-grain simulation to create an artistic design.
