In recent years, Gangnan District has relied on the advantages of forestry resources, based on the wood processing industry, strengthened policy support, expanded industrial clusters, adhered to innovation driven, and “turning green into gold” to promote high-quality development of the forestry industry. After more than 10 years of development, the number of wood processing enterprises in Gangnan District has grown from more than 30 in 2010 to more than 1100 at present, including 280 wood enterprises above designated size, and a batch of key enterprises in the autonomous region with an output value of more than 100 million yuan has emerged.
