Film faced birch plywood is a material with particularly good water resistance characteristics. Waterproof glue (phenol formaldehyde resin) is used for gluing plywood veneer layers. Durability and water resistance are added to the material by a special layer of phenolic coating, which covers surface of plywood sheet on both sides. This coating provides effective protection of the material against moisture and mechanical damage.
Depending on the intended use, we offer laminated plywood with a smooth surface (F/F) on both sides or a smooth / wiremesh, anti-slip (F/W) surfaces.
FILM FACED PLYWOOD HEXA
In addition to all the properties of film faced birch plywood: strength, durability, water resistance, long service life, film faced plywood HEXA has one strong advantage more – extra good anti-slip resistance.
Anti-slip properties are provided by a special hexagonal convex pattern that is applied to one side of the sheet. Both sides of the board are covered with a waterproof phenolic coating, which allows the material to be used outdoors.
HEXA film faced plywood is widely used in the construction of floors for warehouses and production areas, in the construction of floors for various vehicles, as well as in the construction of sports facilities and children’s playgrounds.
