Shuttering Plywood.

The construction pattern of this plywood in the last is 1+1+9+1+1 which gives it more strength so that it can handle the burden of concrete mixture and iron roads of the ceiling. It is mostly used in making a base for the drains, ceiling, walls, pillars, highways, etc. At the top of its base, the concrete mixture is poured that provides the concrete a shape exactly according to the need of the architect.

Making of Shuttering Plywood:

Hardwoods are used as raw materials such as Oak, Eucalyptus, Birch, Maple, & Mahogany.
At first, veneers (layers derived from hardwood timber) are clamped upon each other. Synthetic phenolic resigns are then spread over the piles to make them stick. Then several layers of piles are heated and pressed with glue. Chemicals are then used for preservative treatments. In the last, the phenolic film is covered over the plywood and then heated and pressed.

What is the use of Shuttering Plywood:

Shuttering Plywood is used for pouring or shuttering concrete into molds. Due to its properties, it is weather-resistant and does not stick to concrete. However, it is not so special in appearance and it is used more for functions. It is commonly used where finishing is not required at all. The term shuttering is mostly used for temporary timbers (such as plywood, metal, or other materials) to give support to mix wet concrete until it becomes strong on its own
